= UCS@school maintenance cycle rules =

UCS@school is based upon UCS and has a technical dependency on a UCS version. The same definitions for major and minor releases of UCS apply to UCS@school, which therefore follows the basic rules of the [[Maintenance Cycle for UCS#UCS maintenance cycle rules|Maintenance Cycle for UCS]]. 

* The maintenance cycle of a UCS@school version ends 6 months after the release of the following version.
* Is the maintenance cycle of UCS@school going beyond the underlying UCS version, the maintenance cycle of this UCS version is extended accordingly.

Minor enhancements and fixes for small issues are continually provided by [http://errata.univention.de/ Errata Updates] through the Online-Update in Univention Corporate Server.
